The goal of pediatric integrative medicine is to optimize each child or adolescent’s health and development by applying therapies that account for all aspects of a patient’s lifestyle in partnership with the family, within the community, and the larger environmental context.

What is Integrative Medicine?

Medical Interventions:

Address nutrition, sleep, exercise, mind-­‐body connection, and environmental exposures. 

                   

Treatments: 

Include nutrition, herbs and supplements, mind-­ body approaches, exercise, and minimizing toxic environmental exposures simultaneously with conventional medicine. 

                                               

Consultations:

Address issues such as arthritis, ADHD, asthma, allergies, eczema, digestive issues, infections, obesity, migraines, and mental health.

                       

Prevention Goals:

Address family history of chronic illness, as well as prenatal counseling, and preconception counseling
